SpeedTyper is built with privacy as a core principle. All your typing test data, including test history, personal bests, and settings, are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage.

Your data never leaves your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers.

What We Store Locally

• Your last 50 typing test results (WPM, accuracy, duration, mode)
• Your personal best records
• Your test preferences and settings
• Current test state for recovery

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand site usage and improve the user experience. This analytics service is privacy-respecting and does not track personal information.

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• Clear your test history anytime from the History page
• Export your data as CSV for personal records
• Your data is deleted when you clear your browser data
